This recently developed chemical dye is approved by the Global Organic Textile Standards:
no ingredients are used that are banned by law, the dye doesn’t cause any allergies, nor cancer or water polution.

Irridescent Crushed Silk

The 3 dimensional effect is the result of tapestry weave technique with highly twisted yarns.
The weave uses 7 vegetable dye colours. It is carefully handwoven on traditional pit looms
in West Bengal, India.
The silk used is a local variety of Malda. This dress made out of this precious material uses
bias cut to give it a nice drape.
Apart from the dress there is a sleeveless top and a coat.
Colours: grey, yellow, green, pink and rust brown
