KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival is held annually for four weeks during the spring season in Kyoto, Japan. Exhibitions will be spread across the city in various traditional Japanese and contemporary architecture venues, accompanied by innovative scenography.

While one man photographs the plastic-filled carcasses of baby seabirds, another creates beautiful lamps out of plastic he finds on the beaches of a remote Japanese island.
