Babaghuri: Nepali Village Bags Exhibition

This exhibition features a wide range of cowhide bags,
made especially for Babaghuri in a small village in Nepal.
The villagers tan the hide themselves and then hand-sew the leather
into a variety of original bags including shoulder bags and handbags.
A full range is available at the exhibition.

We look forward to seeing you at Babaghuri.

The Exhibition will be held from 2012.2.16(Thu) to 20(Mon).

NUIE Exhibition


NUIE Exhibition at Babaghuri shop 2011

We are pleased to announce a “NUIE (Patch Work) Exhibition”.

Different pieces of old cloth that have been carefully used are cut and pieced together,
then finely embroidered. No two pieces are ever the same.
Some are large enough to be used as sofa or floor coverings.

In addition, there will be a range of handicrafts form India
including cloth work bracelets and necklaces, embroidered bags,
jackets, coats and more.

This exhibition will be held from the 15th to the 19th of December.
