We are pleased to announce an exhibition, “Handiwork of India I, by Neeru Kumar”.

India, the birthplace of cotton, has the richest textile culture in the world.
Its original, vivid dyeing and embroidery techniques
have been brought up to date by designer Neeru Kumar.

Her clothes are works of art that combine
minutely-detailed Indian handiwork and handwoven cloth
with a simple, modern silhouette.

150 items of clothing and shawls, specially chosen by Jurgen Lehl,
will be exhibited and sold at the Kiyosumi Babaghuri shop
from the 19th to the 23rd of May.

We hope you will take this unique opportunity to come and see Kumar’s brilliant work.
